More Information
Freedom Woman is simply a collection of moments from real females ranging from children to seniors. Women around the world are joining together to share their stories by answering three basic questions regarding their weakest moment, strongest moment, and how they are feeling now. Some of the stories are inspiring and some are heart-breaking. All are important in painting a picture of what life is really like for females around the globe.
Artist David Ilan may be using this site as the inspiration for a project called Freedom Woman, a sequel to David's ongoing project called Points With Purpose which helps survivors of rape and sexual abuse in over 150 countries. You can find out more about david here: www.davidilan.com.
Drawing Hope International is the organization behind this project and a number of David's other projects, such as Points With Purpose, and the portfolio of charitable works David has been creating over the last decade. These projects have a number of things in common. They all aim to raise awareness of globally relevant issues; educate about topics that are not easy to talk about; inspire people to help each other to survive, heal and live well; and motivate action that - on a global scale - will create change.
Drawing Hope is a tax exempt charitable organization that - through art - serves survivors of abuse and other life struggles. Drawing Hope helps survivors connect with their own strength, see their beauty and embrace their freedom.
